The Lieferando Workers Collective (LWC) in Germany has begun collecting signatures for a petition addressed to the Bundestag calling for a ban on the employment of individuals working as Platform Suppliers through intermediaries. According to the LWC, employment through Fleet Partners is simply a “criminogenic environment” that exists only to complicate the legal situation and blur criminal liability.
Other demands of this petition:
– Implementation of the EU Platform Work Directive, which will provide the same level of protection as in a direct employment relationship
– Adding provisions for individuals working as Suppliers to the Act on the Protection of Parcel Carriers (Couriers)
– Introducing public certificates assessing working conditions on Delivery Platforms
Anyone can sign the petition, regardless of their place of residence.
You can find it here: https://innn.it/direktanstellung-jetzt
We would like to remind you that Lieferando is a platform operating in Poland as Pyszne.pl.
