Suppliers working for the Wolt Platform continue to organize a one-day strike each week. The dispute with the Platform has been ongoing for two months (we wrote about it here).

Besides the traditional strike, the Suppliers are taking other actions in parallel. For example, they are deliberately avoiding Wolt orders during their normal working day to pressure the Platform and force it to negotiate. The crux of the conflict is, as always, the same: wages. Wolt claims that the Suppliers earn at least 230 SEK per hour, but the workers themselves believe this is 150-160 SEK. Now, the Suppliers have also begun to exploit GDPR regulations to gain access to their work data.

Interestingly, the entire protest is being organized informally, without the involvement of trade unions.
