The Norwegian Court of Appeal has dismissed the appeal filed by three individuals working as suppliers for the Wolt Platform regarding their recognition as full-fledged employees. According to this decision, they are not entitled to permanent employment. In its ruling, the Court of Appeal emphasized that suppliers are free to choose when they want to work and are not obligated to accept orders through the app. This ruling was issued by a five-judge panel, with one judge dissenting.
The case was handled by lawyers for the LO Trade Union on behalf of the employees. The union has already announced an appeal to the Supreme Court.
