The Just Eat platform announced that it is closing its branch in Denmark in mid-April. Well, actually, it’s not a branch, but a home base. It was in Denmark that the platform was founded in 2001. The official announcement cited “difficult market conditions” (whatever that means).
Around 280 people will lose their jobs: 120 working in the office and 160 working as delivery drivers.
In previous years, Just Eat has already withdrawn from other markets, including France, Australia, and New Zealand.
As a reminder, the Just Eat platform is owned by Just Eat Takeaway.com and operates in Poland as Pyszne.pl.
