Almost two weeks ago [March 13, 2026], the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland rejected an appeal by a Geneva-based company that served as a fleet partner between individuals working as delivery drivers and the UberEats Platform. The court upheld a previous ruling, according to which the company operated as a temporary employment agency for Uber and therefore required special requirements and a permit to continue operating.

In 2022, a first-instance judgment was issued prohibiting the company from operating. The court’s key argument was that Uber, through its app, issues instructions to delivery drivers, monitors their work, and determines their remuneration. The Supreme Court’s ruling appears to finally put this matter to rest.
