We’ve written about this issue many times. It’s a scandal that in the 21st century, thousands of people working as Suppliers for Platforms are deprived of a fundamental achievement of civilization: access to a restroom. Platforms do not provide their employees with access to them in any way.
But this situation has just changed in New York City [USA]. City authorities, specifically the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), have launched a special Supplier Card system, which, when presented at the order pickup location, grants access to the bathroom.
Is it possible? Is it possible! But why are city officials solving the problem and not the employers, i.e., the Platforms?
