In February of this year, the Glovo platform operating in Italy was placed under compulsory judicial supervision. This was the result of accusations of illegal employment brokerage and organized labor exploitation.

In response, the platform’s management developed and presented a recovery plan to the prosecutor’s office. Its main objectives include increasing the hourly rate (from €10 to €14 per hour) and the delivery rate (the minimum rate will increase to €3 gross). The plan also includes implementing procedures to prevent organized crime groups from trading employee accounts.
