A week ago we informed about a fine of EUR 10 million imposed on the Uber Platform. Today we received information published on elDiaro.es about a fine of PLN 550,000. euro imposed on Glovo, also for violating the right to privacy.
The Spanish Data Protection Agency found that the Platform conducts excessive surveillance of employees and makes this data available to virtually everyone in the company, also in other countries.
The investigation into this matter began in 2020, at the request of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
