Los Deliveristas Unidos – is a group of people living in New York and working for Internet Platforms. This is one of the projects centered around the Workers Justice Project. As they write: Los Deliveristas Unidos is a rapidly growing movement organizing and advocating for better wages, working conditions, safety measures and other workers’ rights. In just six months, our membership has grown rapidly and continues to grow, demonstrating that suppliers working for Platforms need to be seen, heard and respected.
Their actions are already bringing results: on December 6, 2023, they won the case in court, and New York will be the first city in the US where Platform employees will be entitled to the minimum wage.
