The Workers’ Council representing couriers for the platform Glovo in the province of Pontevedra (Spain) has called for a four-day strike, spanning two upcoming weekends: October 24–25 and October 31 – November 1.
The primary demand is for Glovo to comply with the collective bargaining agreement that applies to the entire goods transport sector in Spain. Couriers are also calling for higher pay and an end to the unilateral implementation of changes to work schedules. Furthermore, the workers have highlighted issues regarding delayed wage payments and frequent errors in their earnings statements.
