Since August 1st, the Wolt Platform has banned the subletting of Supplier accounts in Finland to people other than those to whom they are registered. This was due, among other things, to new regulations regarding the sale of alcohol in Finland.
As a result, over the past two weeks, over 27,000 people have contacted the Platform wanting to create new accounts. It is highly likely that these are people who previously worked for the Platform as Suppliers, but did so using other people’s accounts.
This high number surprised Wolt itself, especially since previous data indicated a total number of registered Suppliers of approximately seven to ten thousand.
