The Finnish-founded Wolt Platform is introducing a complete ban on sharing (and subletting) accounts of people working for it as Delivery Partners, effective August 1, 2026. From that date, orders will only be placed by people with a personal and verified account. The official reason is the Platform’s fight against “abuse.” However, a new market is opening up: a new law on the sale of alcohol is about to come into effect, which will allow home delivery, but only after meeting special requirements.
