During the meeting, they will share their experiences campaigning for minimum standards for those working as delivery workers for platforms. In Australia, regulations specifying the rules for hiring and paying delivery workers by delivery platforms have been in place since 2024.
Is it possible to achieve binding minimum standards (such as the minimum wage) for platform workers, and what can unions realistically negotiate with delivery platforms?
