The IWGB trade union encourages all people who currently work or have ever worked for the Just Eat Platform in the UK to make a claim for compensation.
In February 2021, the UK Supreme Court ruled that Uber taxi drivers would be classified as workers. Employees are entitled to legal protections and benefits such as holiday pay, sick pay and the minimum wage. This sets a very strong precedent and allows us to assume that Just Eat employees should receive the same benefits.
