Last Friday and Saturday [November 28 and 29, 2025], workers for the Wolt and Efood delivery platforms organized further strikes. On these days, on Black Friday and the following Saturday, deliveries were not made from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM on both platforms. Additionally, a shared drive through the city center was organized.
The strikers’ demands:
– the conclusion of a collective agreement including wage increases for all Platform employees (Delivery and office and warehouse workers),
– guaranteeing a minimum hourly wage, pension and health insurance,
– providing those willing to convert their self-employment into regular employment,
– abolishing contract work and work through intermediaries,
– clear definition of pickup and delivery zones.
The strikers emphasized that the status of being employed as subcontractors rather than employees is simply fraudulent and should be immediately abolished.
The strike was co-organized by the eFood Workers’ Association of the Attica region.
