We continue the series in which we present statistical data on people employed on various types of Internet Platforms, including Delivery Platforms. Work is underway on the implementation of the Directive on Work for Platforms in Poland, so some knowledge may be useful to us.

Today: Form of employment

Only 7% of people working for various types of Platforms have a proper employment contract (or contract of mandate).
The remaining 93% of people are so-called “subcontractors” – this is how Platforms refer to employees who are employees but do not have, in the legal sense, a proper employment contract.

The data comes from Eurostat, and was published in a report on the Directive on Work for Platforms
