On March 28, a court in Great Britain sentenced Lewis Livingston to six and a half years in prison for the attempted murder of a person working for the Deliveroo platform. The attack took place on July 1, 2023 in north London – Lewis, then 19, stabbed a delivery man riding a bicycle. Fortunately, witnesses of the event intervened and pulled Lewis away from the victim.
The IWGB trade union stated that this was not the first attack on a courier and that it was not surprised by Platform’s passivity in such situations.
