We continue the series in which we present statistical data on people employed on various types of Internet Platforms, including Delivery Platforms. Work is underway on the implementation of the Platform Work Directive in Poland, so some knowledge may be useful to us.
Today: How much time do we work for Platforms?
Over 33% of employees declare that they work for Platforms up to 9 hours per month, 22% from 10 to 29 hours, and another 22% over 30 hours. Just over 21% worked less than 1 hour per month.
In general, work for Platforms is characterized by huge employee turnover. Only 21% of people who worked for them in the last 12 months (preceding the moment of the survey) declared that they still work this way.
The survey was conducted by Eurostat in 2022, as part of the general EU labor market survey, the data comes from 17 countries (including Poland).
