At the beginning of August, we reported on the ongoing conflict on the Pyszne.pl platform (here) – among the many problems faced by those working as Delivery Drivers, the most important is a completely new, very unfavorable remuneration system, the introduction of the so-called mileage allowance.
The Konfederacja Pracy (Confederation of Labor) trade union operating at Pyszne.pl is conducting negotiations, but this most important issue has still not been resolved. According to a survey organized by the union, 87% of people (out of 800) spoke out against the new system. It’s no surprise – it will significantly reduce their salaries.
Further talks are scheduled for today – we hope that the Platform will see Delivery Drivers as people who simply need to make a living.
We would also like to remind you that the German platform Lieferando, owned by the same corporation as Pyszne.pl (Just Eat Takeaway), is also implementing major changes, also to the detriment of the people working there (see here).
