Yesterday [09.04.2025] a protest meeting of people working as Suppliers for Glovo took place in Gdańsk. The direct spark that caused this protest was a delay of over 2 weeks in salary payments, and in some cases even longer. According to information obtained from Fleet Partners, salaries were withheld by Glovo, without giving reasons. The Glovo platform recently introduced a new version of the application for Suppliers, at the same time changing the rules for evaluating work. Of course, they still remain a secret of the Algorithm, but this change has once again deepened the feeling of uncertainty and opacity of the rules applicable on this Platform.
The organizers are announcing another action for next week, encouraging all interested people to join and support their activities.
We will only add that yesterday’s action took place almost on the anniversary of the 2024 strikes at Glovo in Grudziądz and Poznań.
