A week ago we reported on a new phenomenon in the USA: the Uberization of the profession of patient care and nursing services.
It is easy to predict that subsequent professions are subject to this phenomenon. RestOfWorld magazine informs that the SweepSouth platform operating in South Africa provides cleaning services. It currently has over 1.2 million employees, but the conditions it offers them are identical to the well-known working principles for other Platforms.
What sets it apart is its demographic structure: while Uber’s employees in South Africa are only 4% women, at SweepSouth the vast majority are women.
