Aljazeera reported that in Australia an agreement was reached between the Uber Online Platform and a law firm representing over 8,000 people working for this Platform.
The case had been dragging on since 2019, when the law firm filed a lawsuit against Uber for intentionally lowering earnings through manipulation in the pricing of services.
According to the law firm, this agreement is one of the most important settlements in the history of Australian justice.
The platform itself wrote in a statement, among other things: “Uber will continue to focus on helping millions of Australians”
