Last week [February 5, 2025] the Uber Platform announced its financial results for the entire year of 2024. Analyzing such documents is a task for economics specialists, we will only pay attention to two numbers:
Uber Platform revenue for 2024 is almost USD 44 billion, or about PLN 178 billion. For comparison, the National Health Fund will spend about PLN 183 billion on ALL medical services in Poland in 2025. (This is for the consideration of all those who worry that when implementing the Directive on Work for Platforms in Poland, the fate of oppressed entrepreneurs must be taken into account).
Revenues from Deliveries (UberEats) increased by 21% in 2024 compared to 2023 (You have certainly felt it in your wallets, haven’t you?)
