Tomorrow [December 10, 2024] a really interesting event. At 2:00 p.m. there will be a presentation of the Fairwork report assessing working conditions on Platforms operating in Poland.
We have already written about Fairwork reports describing the situation in other countries (see here). Now it’s time for Poland. The report assesses working conditions on six Platforms dealing with deliveries and passenger transport: Bolt, Freenow, Glovo, Pyszne. pl, Uber and UberEats
Each Platform was assessed in terms of the following criteria: remuneration, working conditions, contracts, platform management and representation of people providing work.

The report was created as part of the international Fairwork project, coordinated by the Oxford Internet Institute and the WZB Berlin Science Center. Researchers from the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Warsaw and the Institute for Structural Research participated in its creation.
