Today begins another strike at eCourier in Great Britain. The action will last two days (today and tomorrow). It will include not only the strike itself but also two pickets and a joint ride for people working for eCourier in London. The main demand of the strike is the proper employment of employees – not as “subcontractors” but as employees, based on labor law and with full social rights.
As a reminder: eCourier provides courier and delivery services in Great Britain and is part of RoyalMail. The strike action is organized by the Independent Workers Union of Great Britain (IWGB), Couriers and Logistics section.
