Almost a month and a half ago, the JD.com corporation announced the launch of its Delivery Platform in China. Right from the start, the momentum with which it started was overwhelming: 126 cities were served, 300,000 restaurants were available. And over 10,000 people working as Delivery Persons – supposedly under a full employment contract.
Not enough? Well, look at this! Yesterday [24.03.2025] the Platform announced that it is already handling over a million deliveries per day!
