Founded in January 2022, the Alliance of Korean Platform Workers (AKPW) works to unite Korean Platform Workers into trade unions and implement and regulate the full guarantee of Platform workers’ rights.
AKPW consists of Korean platform workers’ unions such as Riders Union, App-Drivers Union, Webtoon Creators Union, Taxi Workers Union, Kakao Crew Union, as well as some civil rights organizations such as the Korea Center for Contingent Workers.
