The Singapore Ministry of Labour has officially recognised three organisations working for Ride and Delivery Platforms as their representatives: the National Taxi Association (NTA), the National Private Hire Vehicles Association (NPHVA) and the National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA).
This means they now have full authority to represent some 67,000 workers in Singapore and negotiate better working conditions with the Platforms.
The three organisations already have a Care Fund in place to provide assistance in the event of an accident at work. Food vouchers are provided to those who are unable to work due to an accident.
