Just three days ago [05.06.2025], another study was published on the mental and physical condition of people working as Platform Suppliers in the UK.
The results are not surprising. Around two thirds of Suppliers live in constant fear of unfair evaluation of their work and feel constant anxiety related to sudden changes in working hours.
As many as three quarters of Suppliers participating in the study feel constant anxiety related to a potential decrease in income, and a whopping 51% say that their work puts their health and safety at risk. Around 42% of Suppliers say that they experience physical pain related to their work.
At the same time, Suppliers declare that they spend an average of ten hours a week waiting for orders – so they are logged in and working, but not earning any money.
