We continue the series in which we present statistical data on people employed on various types of Internet Platforms, including Delivery Platforms. Work is underway on the implementation of the Platform Work Directive in Poland, so some knowledge may be useful to us.
Today: Earnings and working time
55% of people working for Platforms earn less than the hourly minimum wage in the country where they work.
41% of the time they spend working for Platforms remains unpaid (e.g. waiting for an order to be assigned)
The data comes from Eurostat, and was published in a report on the Platform Work Directive
