The Fairwork Project has published a report on the working conditions of platforms in Spain. Based on the analysis of many factors (including remuneration, forms of employment, contract terms), this report evaluates (in the form of an assessment) the working conditions of eight Platforms.
Here are the results (maximum 10 points):
La Pájara – 8 points (former local supply cooperative, now defunct)
Just Eat – 7 points (delivery platform, in Poland as Pyszne.pl)
Cabify – 2 points (Performance with passenger transport)
Taskrabbit – 2 points (Platform with handyman services)
Uber – 2 points (passenger transport platform)
Glovo – 0 points (delivery platform)
MyPoppins – 0 points (Cleaning services platform)
Fairwork is an international project covering 38 countries on 5 continents. The project coordinators are the Oxford Internet Institute and the Social Sciences Center WZB Berlin.
