We extend an invitation to participate in a study conducted within the School of Social Sciences:

The research project concerns the work of migrants in Poland via digital platforms (such as Uber, Glovo, etc.) and aims to understand whether this type of employment promotes the integration of foreigners in the labor market or leads to their segregation and precarization. As part of the project, I am conducting interviews with migrants working via platforms – both in the food delivery and passenger transport sectors. The interviews are anonymous, voluntary and serve to learn about migrants’ personal experiences related to their professional life in Poland: motivation to take up platform work, working conditions, contacts with other migrants and Poles, plans for the future and difficulties and opportunities related to digital work. The results will be used to better understand the situation of migrants and may contribute to improving working conditions and the integration of foreigners in Poland.
