A few days ago (November 8), the Great Delivery, a bicycle expedition of five Platform employees, arrived in Brussels. They traveled from Paris for four days in protest against the ongoing work in the European Parliament to regulate the work of the Platforms.
This work, initially aimed at solutions beneficial for us, the employees of the Platforms, is now aimed at benefiting the Platforms.
Thanks to lawyers and lobbyists hired by the Platforms, work is underway to create a special category of workers: they would not be employees within the meaning of labor law, nor would they be “self-employed”.
