Today we are reiterating the article by lawyer Grzegorz Prigan, entitled “The Tearful Courier and the Broken Law: The State’s Great Silence in the Face of Modern Slavery.” The article was published by the specialized legal website Infor.pl in October 2025, and essentially confirms all the arguments we have been making for a long time.

Let us quote the introduction itself:

The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy remains silent while modern slavery is being practiced here and now, on our streets. Not somewhere far away, not in labor camps or plantations, but in the centers of Wrocław, Warsaw, and Krakow. Thousands of young people – immigrants, students, desperate people – ride “bicycles” that have long ceased to be bicycles, transporting food without health inspections, working without contracts and without insurance. An algorithm assigns them jobs, the fleet manager takes half their earnings, and the state looks the other way. This isn’t “innovation.” This isn’t a “flexible labor market.” This is systemic exploitation, dressed up in colorful apps and slogans about modernity. Modern slavery – only with white gloves.
