A court in Milan, Italy, ordered Glovo to engage in talks with trade union representatives in early July of this year [July 8, 2025] regarding the safety of those working as delivery drivers.
The case gained traction when it was revealed that the bonus paid during the heatwave was only a few cents. In response to criticism, Glovo simply suspended this bonus.
