Last Friday [August 1, 2025], Wolt Platform Suppliers in Greece organized a 24-hour strike.
Platform employees initially gathered at Wolt’s office in Athens, from where they traveled to the Greek Ministry of Labor, and then to the headquarters of the company operating the Platform in Greece. This action was intended as a warning to the Platform against another, longer strike.
The strikers’ demands: an increase in wages, an end to blackmailing Suppliers by suspending accounts and proposing forced “collaborative solutions,” and the Platform signing a corporate collective bargaining agreement.
