Just after the holidays [December 27, 2024], the anarchist group Ρουβίκωνας (Rouvikonas) organized a solidarity demonstration in Athens in front of the house of one of the co-owners of the eFood Platform, Konstantin Kirkin. The majority of the shares in the Platform are owned by the Delivery Hero corporation, which operates in Poland as Glovo.
A statement was published: eFood‘s practices are not an image from the future, but they are not from the past either. It is an image of the capital machine eternally hungry for profit, profit at all costs, or, as in the case of eFood, an image of bosses always ready to suck the life out of workers, to suck them to the marrow of their bones.
