Do you remember how in August 2019 Deliveroo announced that it was withdrawing from Germany overnight (leaving over 1,100 employees in the lurch)? Or how it closed its branch in Australia (over 15,000 employees) in November 2022?
Well, now hold on: virtualmedia.pl reported that Glovo is closing its Technology Center in Warsaw. The platform, of course, denies that this in any way affects its “operations in Poland”.
Well, it doesn’t affect today, but tomorrow?
Glovo also did not confirm how many people lost their jobs at the Center.
We can only speculate that no one probably lost their job. Because they were probably all on “B2B” contracts.
