Exactly four months have passed since the last such information, and lo and behold: the Pyszne.pl platform is once again in conflict between those working as Delivery Drivers and the platform’s management. Yesterday [04.08.2025], the Konfederacja Pracy (Confederation of Labor) Trade Union, operating on Pyszne.pl, published its correspondence with the management. The platform announced the introduction of a new work settlement system, the so-called “kilometer allowance,” effective September 1st. The union strongly opposed this change. It believes this change will be unfavorable for Delivery Drivers. It also demands, among other things, a maximum limit on the distance Delivery Drivers must travel to pick up orders, guaranteed paid work hours for Delivery Drivers who are available, and a guaranteed break of at least 15 minutes during every 6 hours of work.
As you can probably guess, the Platform’s response is quite pathetic: for example, it refuses to implement a 15-minute work break because it “would create a serious legal risk for both parties.” Yes, yes, taking a break from hard physical work (e.g., to use the restroom) poses a “serious legal risk” for the Platform.
