The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection of the City of New York (USA) published (almost two years ago) a report which shows a terrifying fact: people working as Suppliers for Internet Platforms have more accidents at work than people working in the construction sector. Also those with a fatal outcome. People working with bicycles or scooters have an average of 36 fatal accidents for every 100 thousand working hours. This is as much as THREE times more than in the construction sector.
And most importantly: such a high accident rate occurs in a sector with practically zero social security. Has any of us ever paid an accident contribution to ZUS?
