Almost two months ago [28.03.2025], the European Commission published an extensive report on the economic, social, legal and political consequences of managing employees and their work through algorithms.
Although the Report covers a relatively distant period (until the end of September 2023), its content is still surprising in many respects. For example, according to the Report, almost 1/4 of all private companies operating in the European Union use algorithmic management to a greater or lesser extent.
In the context of implementing the EU Directive on Platform Work in Poland, this report seems to be required reading for all those involved in this process.
