We return once again to the Fairwork report on work for Platforms in Poland (more about it here).
Last week we published an interview with the people who created this report (see here). Also last week on the website dostawca-jedzenia.pl Łukasz (its author) published a letter commenting on the results of the Report. Dawid, the author of the letter, was critical of several of its points. He emphasized that such a high assessment of the Pyszne.pl Platform is inadequate to the actual state of affairs, and, worse still, it can be used by the Platform to improve its image.
However, we would like to point out that both in the Report and in Dawid’s letter, it was stated that Pyszne.pl does not use intermediaries (or Fleet Partners) when employing people as Suppliers. So how does the City-Drive announcement relate to this?
We asked Fairwork for a comment on this matter, unfortunately we have not received it yet. As soon as we get it, we’ll publish it right away. And we remind you: The report was created at the turn of 2023 and 2024, a lot could have changed since then.
Oh, and one more thing: pay attention to the seemingly extensive list of “bonuses” to the salary. But are they really free? And another thing: do we work to earn money or to have “bonuses”?
