Two trade union organizations, Union Independents and the French section of CGT, are organizing a nationwide strike of Internet Platform employees on December 2 and 3, 2023. They call on all other trade union organizations that agree with their demands to join them.
The strike is a response to the new remuneration policy introduced by Uber Eats in France. Its effect is to reduce wages by up to 40%!
Other demands:
– return to the remuneration policy from 2019,
– the obligation to introduce a minimum wage applicable on all platforms, based on the kilometer traveled and the time spent during the delivery (including waiting time).
– abolition of the obligation to deliver to floors in buildings and additional remuneration for delivery to floors
– openness and transparency of remuneration rules for all suppliers.
