Last Friday [27.09.2024], the Polish Syndicalists Union held a protest in front of the headquarters of the Pyszne.pl Platform. The protest was a response to the ongoing conflict between people working as Suppliers at Pyszne.pl and the management of the Platform. The main demand of the action was the immediate reinstatement of people fired for their work in support of workers’ rights. Additionally, they demanded the fulfillment of promises from recruitment advertisements and changes that would allow for a rational organization of work.
Since the management of pusty.pl did not respond to the demands in any way, it was decided to continue the protest. Another protest has been announced for the following Friday [4.09.2024], in front of the headquarters of pusty.pl in Warsaw, ul. Elektoralna 12a.
Let us recall: Pyszne.pl is a brand belonging to JustEat Takeaway.com, a corporation operating in 19 countries around the world. It operates under brands such as Bistro.sk, Grubhub, Just Eat and Lieferando. The announced protest is not the first in this corporation. This year alone, we have described strikes in Austria, Germany and England.
