The online magazine Vox published a few months ago [April 2024] an analysis of the actions taken by Delivery Platforms in response to the introduction of minimum wage regulations. Specifically, it concerns the wage for people working as Delivery Drivers in New York and Seattle (USA).
These actions can be summed up in one sentence: Platforms have started charging their customers additional fees for deliveries, giving them a clear signal: if the government intervenes in the way the applications work, the situation will only get worse.
