We continue the series of presentations of trade unions, associations and groups that fight against the exploitation of Platforms.
Today: Burma (Myanmar). Couriers and couriers working for FoodPanda went on strike on June 6, 2022. Some of their demands:
– introduction of a minimum wage for delivery of 670 kyat (equivalent to USD 0.36!)
– a day off from work at the employee’s request
– health and accident insurance paid for by the company and not by the employee.
