As always, with considerable delay, we’re announcing that the results of another study on the delivery sector in Poland have been published. The authors are Ksenia Homel and Aleksandra Grzymala-Kazłowska from the University of Warsaw. Title: Living and Working Conditions of Migrants in the Delivery Sector in Poland.
The study reveals significant irregularities regarding residence status and work organization, which operate thanks to the unregulated Platform sector (along with the Fleet Partner phenomenon) and an increasingly restrictive migration system in Poland. Furthermore, there is racial, ethnic, and linguistic discrimination.
