The French Le Parisien described the lawsuit by the management of the Deliveroo Platform, which was brought on behalf of 113 people working for it in 2022. The court proceedings ended last Friday [June 13, 2024] and the verdict is scheduled to be announced on September 5. The prosecutor demanded a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of PLN 30,000. euros for one of Deliveroo’s board members. For the remaining members of the management board, nine months in prison and a fine of PLN 20,000. euro and four months in prison and 10,000. euro for the third one. The Platform itself will have to pay a fine of EUR 375,000.
