We have asked the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy about the progress of work on the act implementing the Platform Work Directive. As previously announced, the draft was supposed to be published this December.
The Department of Labor Law, which is working on its implementation, informed us that due to ongoing work within the Social Dialogue Council (SDRC), the draft act is not yet ready. The SDRC was supposed to complete its work in December, but it appears it will miss this deadline. Therefore, the Ministry will most likely publish the draft only in the first quarter of next year.
The deadline for implementing the Directive is December 2026.
