This is another edition of the conflict between employees and these Platforms. It is about mass layoffs. According to the law in force in New York, the Platforms are obliged to provide employees with the minimum wage per hour of work. But they found a way to &#8220;optimize&#8221;: as soon as the employee approaches the threshold guaranteeing him this minimum wage, his account on the application is suspended (i.e. he is fired from work). In this way, both Platforms avoid paying employees the higher wages they deserve. There is also a conflict between the two Platforms: Uber is a global player, Lyft is rather local. The city authorities joined the conflict, a month ago an agreement was negotiated. Ale znalaz\u0142y spos\u00f3b na \u201coptymalizacj\u0119\u201d: gdy tylko pracownik zbli\u017ca si\u0119 do progu gwarantuj\u0105cego mu t\u0105 p\u0142ac\u0119 minimaln\u0105, jego konto na aplikacji zostaje zawieszone (czyt. zostaje zwolniony z pracy). W ten spos\u00f3b obie Platformy unikaj\u0105 wyp\u0142acania pracownikom wy\u017cszego, nale\u017cnego im wynagrodzenia. W gr\u0119 wchodzi r\u00f3wnie\u017c konflikt mi\u0119dzy obiema Platformami: Uber to gracz globalny, Lyft raczej lokalny. W konflikt w\u0142\u0105czy\u0142y si\u0119 w\u0142adze miasta, miesi\u0105c temu wynegocjowano porozumienie.
